We all learned to deal with rude or ignorant people at the age of 5. Quit being so easily offended, and ignore those people.
"Sticks and stone may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".
People should be allowed to express their opinions, even when they are being rude or ignorant. We may not agree and they should absolutely learn to use some common decency to effectively make their point. but if we argue with them we just give them what they want. Attention and Validity.
Feedbackula is usually entertaining and makes pokes fun at us all, but this last episode was ridiculous in my opinion. Lets quit taking ourselves so seriously.
The funny thing is as current 360 user I would have gladly paid $500 dollars for an Xbone if it just played the games I liked, but they went ahead and added all that extra "value", like 24 hour online check in's - used game restrictions, mandatory kinect, twitch, skype, etc.
@johnyogi Judging by your response I must be right, Its actually funny how you keep failing to make any valid points, you cant even say why you Like the Xbox One, for instance, Just a bunch of immature and unprincipled babble like I said before.
In closing, I can tell you like being told what to do - so you have my permission to write whatever else you would like in response. I won't waste any more of my valuable time responding or reasoning with someone who is obviosly incapaple of having any real "objectified" thinking. (BTW, its so nice that we have google search so you can look up the meaning of big words like objectified) Oh, and you have my permission to buy an Xbone.
@Landsharkk I'm calling bullshit on this argument. That platform already exists, Its called the PC, and they already own this software market. If they have such good intentions they could have established a competitive alternative to steam first on windows.
Their real intention is to make more money by limiting the following. "The whole point of the DRM switch from disc based to cloud based is to kill disc swapping, scratched discs, bringing discs to friends house, trade-ins for shit value with nothing going back to developers, and high game costs. If you want games cheaper then 59.99, you have to limit used games somehow. Steam's model requires a limited used game model."
Nobody in the console market asked for any of this. If you want this buy a PC.
@johnyogi @LastD I am judging the product by its merits, or rather the lack of merits.
1) No used games except to certain "approved" retailers, so I am forced to do business with places like Gamestop rather than selling my games for a fair price to whoever I choose.
2) 24 hour check-ins, that you are forced to comply with in order to prove DRM before you play.
3) Always on connect, that you can only pause temporarily or turn off by unplugging the power.
4) A higher priced console than PS4 for the same set of features.
5) A Proprietary headset connection that means I can't use my existing Tritton Pros.
But you r so blinded by your fan boy, closed mind attitude you need me to point out the negatives for you.
@johnyogi @LastD I'm all for choice, you can happily choose to embrace anti- consumerism by Microsoft and I can choose not to. You are the one calling people absurd for standing for what they believe to be right. I just refuse to accept your premise.
