@Sushiglutton not really, it's basically a way to belittle negative feedback by pointing out the confused nuts in the comment section. i would'nt take that deal
@PSYCHOV3N0M @Lamachina who says they HAVE to be complete rehashes? you're kind of streaching your comparisons between prometheans and covenant. theres way more then enough difference between them to make firefights fresh. deffinitely better then 99.99% similar firefights as we've been playing since halo 1.
on top of that there was no clear explanation storywise as to why the covenant was even involved. their inclusion was obviously a crutch. 343 was simply afraid to abandon the covenant for fear it would alienate fans. they ended up compromising the story and cheapened the conclusion on the original trillogy in the proccess. have some courage 343
a very good game. maybe my 3rd best of the year. but i did have a few issues with it. specifically in regards to the campaign.
1. get rid of the Covenant races as enemies. they are a tired set of enemies. have more guts to make this trillogy new. add more promethean enemy types
2. better mission objectives. cut back on the "run over there and hit this button" goals
3. new vehicles. i love the warthog but its seriously time to come up with some new rides for both the unsc and enemies.
4. storywise don't assume we read all those Halo novels. i was confused as hell as to who the didact, librarian were. as well as the whole forerunner-human war nonsense. if it was'nt in halo 1-3 you should eexplain the backstory a bit better in halo 4-6
@DuaneDog @Lamachina do you think the upcoming laws will be focused on keeping guns "out of the hands of nut jobs and criminals" or focused on banning certain types of firearms and magazines? why have laws for rape and murder if criminals will just flaunt the law? seriously? because both those things are ACTS taken by an individual which harm others. owning ANY TYPE of firearm or any inanimate object is not an act which harms others. really, the comparison is insulting and the sign of an unserious mind. the type that as i said above wants "feel good" legislation and it makes me question the truth of your opening line.
