If Shuhei Yoshida of Sony, one of the faces of Playstation, has faith in Nintendo and even owns 2 Wii U's and a Wii, why shouldn't we? If Nintendo just went bankrupt, the console gaming world would be in huge trouble.
That would mean that the 3DS, witch is now highly successful, would be a "dead handheld walking" and handheld gaming would collapse and retire to Android and iOS. Sony likely wouldn't be able to hold it up on there own, but would not give up on it without a fight. On the console front, both Sony and Microsoft would start to feel the after shock shortly after and talks about "the death of console gaming" would be more present than ever. There would even be less creativity. I mean, come on, even through Sony made Remote Play, Nintendo is the reason Sony went back and made it soo much better on the PS4 and why we now have these 2nd screen experiences. I could go on but ill leave it at that for now.
TL,DR, we NEED Nintendo. They are competition even if they are doing bad. No comp. means less creativity and less business.
@bannermanner @tomservo51 Meh, a lot of us here could just DL Titanfall for PC if i wanted. It would be no surprise if it went fully multi-platform... in fact, they were talking about it possibly happening.
