I second the Witcher 3 vote. May have to turn down some settings but the 1050 should do ok at 1080

@Spartan363: I would agree with most of that. The input lag is Always worse on a TV/Projector than on a dedicated Computer Monitor but it is at levels that are acceptable. As for 4k, to really see it, you do need something over the 50" range (or alternatively you need to be nice and close). I use a 40" Wasabi-Mango for up close 4k and a VW665ES to a 120" screen for couch viewing and 4k does make quite the difference. Achillies has a great point though in that it is still cost prohibitive to game at 4k on a PC. Hopefully Volta will change that, we'll see in...2018 perhaps.

All the screen tests you need. Well, minus Chroma I think.

@KyleGates: So, I would have 2 wires? from modmic to pc and headset to pc? Hmmmm interesting.

That is true, 2 wires. However, you had mentioned you were interested in quality without big size and big spending. Cant do that without one or two downsides. But the quality of the ModMic is great as is the size and pricing. Small price to pay for 2 wires imo.

@timemasheen: Well, the ModMic is not wireless (generally, if at all possible, go wired, better audio quality all the way around). The ModMic comes with a small magnetic attachement that allows you to attach it to just about any headset. So, if you have no headset you like, the ModMic wont be much good to you, but if you do, it can attach and then you are good. Recording quality is generally very very good as well BUT, it is wired (cable runs from the mic to whatever mic/audio in you use on your PC).

Wait Wait WAIT....Do you already have a headset at all that you like? If you do then the AntLion ModMic is THE way to go. I own 4 of them and they are excellent.

The dev kits were great but they are lacking in a lot of the support that the full releases have. Further, the resolution and response time are also lower with the dev kits. Lastly, you can find the DK2 on eBay for under $200(us) so.....id say not a great idea. Having owned a DK2 and a full release Rift and Vive, I would cation many to wait until they revise and refresh the technology. VR can be great but it still has a very long way to go before it really hits the sweet spot. That said...if you are just ITCHING to have it, talk down to sub 200, then perhaps give it a go.
