I still remember the day I lost my NES. We happened to be having a yard sale that day and I had been busy helping out all morning to sell various items. Since I was working so hard to help out my mom I got to keep part of the money that we had made so of course being a kid and finally having some spending money for once in my life I was eager to go to the store and purchase something. I decide to bike down to the store and pick some things up. I had to have been gone for no longer than 40 minutes. I came back inside and happened to pass by the area where we kept the NES. It was gone I immediately ran to my mom to find out what had happened to the console which I had poured so much time into. She stated clearly and without remorse she had sold it while I was gone................ I will never forget that day as one of my saddest moments as a gamer.

It's sad but I think I agree with most of their points brought up. I love what nintendo does with their top tier games like smash bros and fire emblem but there comes a point where you get tired of seeing those similar looking environments, enemies and play style. I think what Peter and Tom were trying to say is that they love Nintendo and think these new games are very good but they want something really unique like when a majority of these titles were first introduced not just changed up gameplay.

Have a few questions related to just visiting Japan. First being a gamer what are the best places to visit in Japan related to games? What are some of your favorite food dishes you have had and I believe you mentioned going out with some friends and how one region was different than the other? Also what are some must dos while in Japan?

@maximo I see your point in wanting everyone to earn their gear and yes that is a good feeling at the same time from an economics perspective it makes sense to charge for this service which will help generate revenue for the company. I understand why you hate just knowing that someone can buy their way through the game but overall it doesn't negatively effect you hopefully you are playing with friends that don't take the lazy way out but if it allows you to play on servers which run smoothly and allows you to keep enjoying your experience then ok. What other options are there though this is a serious question for developers. Yes, we need to make money and no we don't want to cheat the people buying our products but how can we make this work even if our game does't sell 10 million copies. It is interesting to think about how the industry will change to sustain game developers.

@startman_1999 How about you quit acting like an entitled brat and accept the fact that each company needs to make money to survive just like you need money to eat. It is not forcing you to interact with the real money system but is a nice new feature to have in place for those that want to use it plus if it keeps servers up and things of that nature its a win win.

@flippinbird87 A 360 is still worth it if you like playing online the quality of the experience is great plus the few exclusives the 360 does have are all really excellent. I on the other hand am going the opposite way have a 360 and wii but will be buying a ps3 to play most of their exclusives also their presentation has convinced me to give them a shot to be my first next gen system.(Since Nintendo failed so much today)

I'm not going to lie I currently have a 360 and a wii and enjoy games on both consoles as well as PC but seeing Sony's presentation and the lack of quality games from nintendo's presentation I will probably buy a ps3 this year and not the WiiU since I will have to wait until next year to decide which next gen system to buy.

@Theplayer8505 It is both a new controller and new console. However, there are some things that will carry over from the wii like miis and the fact you can still use wii remotes on the new console.

@mattrut Saying that the console is pinching his cheeks and that he has moved on to big boy games? How is that in any way a valid criticism? Makes no mention of specific features, games, online, the controller, the social interaction, or anything really that actually matters so no it was poor pathetic attempt at trolling.

@diablonn So you went from digital girlfriends to having one that is just a fantasy and not based in reality still? I guess that is a step up? By pronouncing how grown up you are by saying that you shave and have a girlfriend if you think that is being grown up you've got a long way to go. Also, because a game's greatest qualities are based on the fun the game has does not mean it is childish. Base your statements on fact make a logical argument about why you do or do not like the system if you are going to criticize.

Multi-platform Gaming FTW

Sincerely, someone that is a true gamer that enjoys playing all games
