I was thinking the other day "Why didn't they make a bigger deal about George's death" (like in the media).

I realized it happened right after September 11th and that has to be why it wasn't a bigger deal.

I mean all the stuff they said for Michael (the child molester) Jackson. Yet nothing for George Harrison?

Had to have been because of the 9/11 media frenzy.

Seasons 2-9, and if you want to be really picky, 3-8, are probably the best television has ever been.

That's not hyperbole on my part, either, that period of the Simpsons, no show has ever been as good as that (cept maybe The Wire).

I couldn't agree more. He's so funny and genuine. He seemed like such a mellow, honest, caring person. Didn't let all the fame get to his head. Extremely humble for his position.
