It'd be funny if Tencent bought it. The Video game industry is filled with mostly western developers, with the only eastern developers being Japanese. If Tencent buys it, they may be able to build a "bridge" between China and the rest of the world.
Either that or... Activision Blizzard could just keep going downhill.

Surely the Metroids can't be extinct. I bet the Galactic Federation will try to get Samus to donate some blood, since she has the Metroid DNA in her, then clone some new Metroids. Then the scientists screw up and now she has to fight a new Dark Samus/SA-X who is half Samus half Chozo half Metroid and half X parasite.
I disagree with Metroid: Chozo only because I've been waiting for a sequel since Fusion which is like 8 years ago and all we got so far a prequels/interquels/blah. Not that those games are bad, it's just I want to see what's up with the Galactic Federation already.... If anyones interested in the origin story, go read the manga. Problem solved. There's no manga for the sequel to fusion which I have been waiting for for years....
As for Pokemon game, just make a Pokemon RPG with all 5 regions... Spin-offs don't count. Make it so that you can transfer Pokemon from Black and White 2 (or whatever future versions) to the console. Make Dream World accessible on Wii U.
All I can say is Sony>NIntendo>Microsoft. Count EA and Ubisoft, then Ubisoft>Sony>Nintendo>Microsoft>EA
Ubisoft did well, with only a couple of boring moments. Sony's wonderbook was dragged out too long. Nintendo lacked amazing games. Microsoft is just KInect fest. EA? Half of their conference talked about features to take your money. BF3 premium? LOL that.
