@G4m3r0uTL4wZ @JPaterson000 Azeroth is the world itself; wherever you travel to from Kalimdor, you're in Azeroth. That's like saying you can't travel to Australia from Earth.
And while you have a point, WoW, for example, doesn't load every quest you pick up, whereis GTA needs a few seconds to load the cutscene, then the mission itself.
And no, WoW is not all instanced; portions of it are.
What I don't understand is how Rockstar can be having problems on a scale similar to World of Warcraft, or any MMO, when the concurrent user base is far under what the other games have at one time.
What, you're limited to 16 players in a game world? Compared to how many of hundreds or thousands in an average MMO?
Rockstar can't accommodate such a small portion compared to larger titles, which speaks volumes to their incompetence when it comes to this.
@Bigevil1978 @JPaterson000 Indeed, Microsoft is much worse, which is why I don't own an Xbox, nor was my comment in any way a defense of Microsoft, or a "Microsoft rox, Sony sux" sort of thing.
But good job bringing a different company altogether into a subject that didn't involve them to begin with.
How is it that Sony is capable of so many mistakes? Not counting the famous security incident, but wasn't it just last week that they released an update that bricked many systems? Now they overcharge for a game?
Hopefully these amateur errors won't carry over when the PS4 is launched.
@grim0187: Aw, I actually am American, sad to say (dual citizenship with Canada, but born in the US). My "G'day" comment was simply a sarcastic response to your "have a good day" to the other poster. But it's okay, head pats are always good. I'm just amazed you were able to take your hands off the rifle you're attached to long enough to give that head pat.
