Rockstar has "some ideas" for GTA VI

Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies says developer has thought about where to take the series next, but GTA Online is the focus right now.

Rockstar North has "some ideas" for a potential follow-up to last month's Grand Theft Auto V, but won't be discussing them anytime soon, as Grand Theft Auto Online is the company's focus right now.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Benzies told Develop in a new interview. "We don't know what GTA VI will be, but we've got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right now."

In addition to GTA Online, Benzies said Rockstar is working on other content surrounding GTAV.

"Plus, we have some other things--stuff, DLC, I don't know how to describe it exactly--that we'd like to do, and we'll pick the right ones," he said.

GTAV was released last month and generated $800 million in 24 hours and $1 billion in three days. GTA Online launched earlier this week and has been beset by various stability issues.

Rockstar is "working around the clock" to fix the bugs, the company said this week.

I just want a new city or cities...no more liberty city and san andreas and even though I'd like to see Vice City again I'd like to see a new city first and then they can revisit Vice City.

GTA6 should be in Northern San Andreas like San Fierro and Las Venturas

I know it's been done to death, but GTA V could really use a Zombie Apocalypse story, similar to Undead Nightmare in RDR. If any game deserves zombie downloadable content, it's this one.

whats the point of saying you have "ideas" if you wont discuss them... GTA V has only just been released, so lets concetrate on that right now,.

They need to make it so that someone else who comes to your house can't tell if you're playing a game or watching a (very long) movie

Well since they made a state and what not why not make GTA World, or just return to their roots and make a city with more character interaction such as plaus and effect things like in infamous where your actions somewhat effect things but to a greater degree now that would be next gen in my view.

Did anyone actually read the article? 'Rockstar North has "some ideas" for a potential follow-up to last month's Grand Theft Auto V, but won't be discussing them anytime soon, as Grand Theft Auto Online is the company's focus right now.' It won't be any time soon, quit bitching.

How about a new game for the PSVita - I'd even be happy with a port of San Andreas
