They have become kinda arrogant and biased since they started going after the Mobile market. Hey Nvidia, tablets can never match the power of consoles. See how easy it is to belittle someone elses product?
Sorry Microsoft I disagree. MS has more of the same from the FPS focused console that I've grown tired of in the past few years. I see more variety and games that aren't swamped by 13 yr old kids in multiplayer over at Sony.
@Jdzspace It comes down to messaging and attitude. Microsoft was honestly down right snotty about their approach. Further more people don't like change. Steam has more or less always relied heavily on disc less software
For better or worse they will implement all their original plans slowly throughout the life of the Xbox One. Probably within the next 2 years every Xbox One game will require daily connectivity and a firmware will sooner or later implement DRM. Not making any arguments for or against, this is just what I believe to be inevitable. If you are ok with this buy it if not don't but don't think Microsoft isn't going to make good on their original plans.
I for one applauded Carolyn for her guts in finding any fault with the game. Every other reviewer has been throwing out 10's like candy. Every game has faults and people took the review to personnel. If people want gaming sites to give games the reviews they want versus the reviews the they deserve in the writers eye's it removes all validity of any of the scores
