When I played, I was on Valor (even in beta). No one talks. Ever. The rare occassion someone mics up, it's to blast music or gripe about someone stealing their kill.
I use Home from time to time. Have met a few nice people there too. But I always run into avatars hitting on each other, asking for pics, or typing "lol" after everything and that tends to ruin it all for me.
It's generally an obnoxious environment which is sad, because it's got so much potential behind it.
Little Big Planet - Insanely creative with user levels, but I didn't find much appealing about the platforming. Then again, I didn't play with other people either, maybe that's the appeal of the first, I don't know.
Infamous - Couldn't get into it. I felt it was rather bland.
Generally, any online shooter. I've even soured on MAG. If I wanted to play Counter-Strike, I'd play Counter-Strike. I tend to find the same things, even in team games, in each one I try.
If they come with a soundtrack or art book they are usually worth it for me.

I agree. I loved the Mafia II special edition. Art book and Orchestral score (plus some DLC) for ten dollars more. I tend to feel they're a waste as well. I have no use for Pandora's box, an action figure, or a cheap duffel bag.
