Yeah, Wii Remote. Total failure. That's why Sony copied it...

Also, Zelda Skyward Sword. There are more, but just to refresh your memory a little...

People consistently underestimate the importance of a piece of hardware being bundled with the console.

Even if the PS Eye had the same capabilities as the Kinect, being "optional" is a HUGE difference.

It's the difference between maybe someday seeing some good innovative games, and it being used for almost nothing, like the PS Move.

Of course the success of this depends on their ability to produce good first-party games... and it IS Microsoft we're talking about.

There's a lot of things to complain about the Xbox One, but I think the bundled Kinect isn't one of them...

I keep seeing atari sell franchises and the only thing I can think of is:

Alone in the Dark's original creator said he'd like to make a remake of the 1st one (1992)

Come on, Atari! Why don't you sell THAT ONE?

Especially when we should be thanking consoles that we don't have to upgrade hardware every 2 years anymore.
PC gaming has never been more affordable and that is thanks to consoles.

You'd be surprised by how retarded we PC gamers can be, too.

There are people who refer to themselves as "PC gaming master race" unironically, for example.

Of course. My point is that EVEN LESS than that can get you into jail. So why are people acting so surprised?

Only now they woke up and realized what little rights they have?

GeForce 8800GTX hasn't been overpowered (or expensive) since late 2007.

Of course:
Exclusives exist because they need to justify people's purchase of a console. This is achieved by dividing the market to force people (who aren't rich) to choose which games to miss out on.

This in short means if there wasn't a Playstation, everyone would be able to play Journey, and Heavy Rain. And unnecessary filler like Killzone wouldn't exist.

But the way it is now, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, etc pay for exclusivities to make it difficult for you because it's good business for them.

I know. TL;DR.
