but if they weren't shooters with safe tried and true gameplay only like 4 ppl would have bought them.

Portal only went big because it came bundled with Half-Life and it's episodes.

Only then people knew it and were THEN ready to buy a full-price Portal 2.

It's sad but that's how things work... and will continue to work until the indies take over...

In another time this would have annoyed me.

But today the best, most engaging games out there are not EA's, and haven't been for a while... so i find it very difficult to gather the energy to care.

I will try, though... for the sake of gamers that somehow still like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, dammit.

I remember when my PC could only handle Crysis 1 with all graphics settings on "low".

Then I bought a better PC and I could turn all the graphics to "high"!

Know how much the game charged me to turn the graphics up?

It really could be awesome, but it looks like they're gonna treat it with the same negligible interest as they did this generation.

At this point I'd be glad if they just stopped releasing Zelda games for a generation or two.
