It's really hard to tell what Nintendo is thinking sometimes - a game rated T or M doesn't deserve censoring in my books. If anything that's a guilty mindset that they're catering to and acknowledging that younger gamers are part of the userbase. Why go to the lengths of getting a game rated if you're just going to pull that anyways. Oh noes.... a woman in a bathing suit/bikini! In a T/M rated game! I could understand if there was actual nudity or sexual content, but what is so bad about a bathing suit?
I guess dat ass is just too much to handle.
