Well it's on hold as no publisher is willing to take the risk in publishing it... and yet Hour of Victory exists and is HMV's 'game of the week'.

Oh and Nintendo own ther best patents to the d-pad I think which is why all other console have pretty cruddy ones that aren't as good as Nintendo's "+" design.

Oh I just saw Monster Madness for rental so there's that too, that back of the box said there's upgradeable weapons and 20huge levels so that may be your best bet.

Although that's not saying much.

The good thing is that pretty much all of these games are now available on the cheap.

Oh yeah and there's Gauntlet on XBLA.

Not really, they're all pretty dumbed down next to BG:DA.

For 2 player weapons stuff you might want to look at Earth Defence Force but it's not an RPG more of a 2 player third person shooter where you unlock extra weapons.

There's about five: Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Dynasty Warriors 5, Samauri Warriors 2, Samauri Warriors 2: Empires and Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Those're the ones I can think of at the moment.
