Not really, they're all pretty dumbed down next to BG:DA.
For 2 player weapons stuff you might want to look at Earth Defence Force but it's not an RPG more of a 2 player third person shooter where you unlock extra weapons.
Marvel lets you level up your skills and put on different suits and gear and stuff, so that adds some sort of customization to how you play the game, rather than just forcing you to do it one way. It's not much but it's something.
Oh I just saw Monster Madness for rental so there's that too, that back of the box said there's upgradeable weapons and 20huge levels so that may be your best bet.
