Splinter Cell 4 (to me double agent was not a proper sequel and it sucked as well).

I want Hideo Kojima to make a full on total conversion MGS game for the pc!!!!!!!!! If he would just realise that he could do everything he wanted with the quality he wanted on a pc. No space constraints and raw power constraints on the humble pc. (note crysis took this similar logic with its awsome engine).

i like it for single player more so than multi but if you give multi a go its really good.

How so?? Every Year EA puts out the FIFA, NHL, and other sports games, and they all get a PC port with no delay.

And of course... add to that all the custom user content (jerseys, roster updates, game tweaks etc etc), all free and updated almost daily, and I'd say the PC Sports community dominates anything the consoles have.

yeah EA releases sports games on the pc side. and they usually suck. bad. (compared to the console versions). 'custom uniforms' mean little if the gameplay sucks (for ea sports games on the pc, the gameplay is usually pretty poor).

and EA's the only company that makes basketball or hockey games so ur pretty much stuck with EA suckage with those two sports on the pc side. vs on the console where other companies also make sports games.

also, there's no baseball games for the pc. EA doesn't make baseball games (take2 has the exclusive contract for that).

face it. be honest, sports games on the pc aren't even comparable to the console side. both in terms of quality and quantity.

Same can be said about RTS games on consoles. They suck. There is no comparing RTS games on console to pc. The fact that you say sports games have no gameplay on pc is pointless. What you should be saying is without a controller, sports games on pc are not that great. Personally FPS games on PC are superior as well. Just like fighting games are superior on console although big whoop. Besides SSBB that is lol.

its not that i hate vista, its just that atm it is too expensive and i runs games worse than xp does. It just uses to many resources thats all. When the first service pack comes out i might consider getting it.

Lair's not really hyped up. Look at the forum about lair before the actual product, you will see. poele are 50-50 about buying even way before the game came out.

A real hyped up game in recent memory is Assasin Creed.

I agree with you on Assasins Creed. That game did not deserve a 9 at all. That game was massively repetive and boring. Though Halo 3 was the most overhyped game of the decade. When i first played it i was so dissapointed. Ahwell, MGS 4 will rely on its graphics, cutscenes and crazy story to get a good review. Gameplay to me has never been that great in MGS games but i just love them for the movie like story and cutscenes. Gonna get this game as soon as it is released.

Halo 3, Oblivion, SMG, Freedom Fighters were all overrated and should have gotten lower scores

Vampire-Bloodlines,The Witcher, Mass Effect, Jade Empire, The Dig, Discworld 2, Gabriel Knight 3, Syberia 2 were all underrated and should have gotten higher scores

I agree with you on all the games above except SMG. No offence but that game was not overated at all and the fact that it received one of the highest score averages of all time i think you may be out voted. Halo 3 on the other hand was the biggest overhyped piece of crap i have ever played. Didnt deserve even a 9 in my books.

Vampire-Bloodlines was a great game but it was so buggy and unfinished that it was painful to play sometimes and i think that is the reason why it got a lower score. I think Metroid Prime 3 deserved a higher score than what it got on GS. Assasins Creed shouldnt have got a 9. That game was so repetitive it was boring.

No offence but the pc version is better. Hugley better controls and the graphics are so much better and sharper on the pc version not to mention extra content. Stuttering does occur every now and then but it doesnt happen much. Framerate wise it runs perfect with no slow down at all on full settings.
