No, it isn't dead. Sure, Resident Evil has lept into a more action packed position, but with one of the greatest games this generation, Dead Space, being a survival horror game I think it's a bit silly to assume as much. And yes, that game is survival horror, even though the purists would dispute this.
Not getting Fatal Frame IV makes me feel as if it is though. :(

Man it was a great let-down not getting Fatal Frame IV since it really gave good chills in the past. And no offense to the Dead Space lovers, but I consider their scares cheap and in my opinion the F.E.A.R. series was better.
Hi I was wondering what you guys use to defeat enemies in Tekken 5 DR. For me, I use Jin Kazama and I always use his straight kick (-> + circle) and his special punch (-> -> hold + triangle). My friends call me a noob for spamming his attacks but I always say, if I get the win, who gives a ****
Oh, I thought this thread would be a shocking revelation that this generation of gaming is like the twist at the end of The Sixth Sense, where it turns out that the consoles we've been arguing about never actually existed, and we can just see ghosts.

Couldnt the just make games like the pc that have graphic options? One for console that dont have the extra ram and one setting for those that do?
I don't think so, and i hope to god they don't.
The ram thing was nice
But if we start going down this path the differances in console hardware will prevent devs from doing amazing things.
I don't want that to happen.

Project Natal is one the best things I've seen on this year's E3. In my opinion, it seems that they are pretty much ahead in terms of creativity and innovation this gen.
