[QUOTE="IronBass"][QUOTE="stylesPS3"]once again, doesnt change the rate of sale, which microsoft is in last :)stylesPS3
Once again, it doesn't change the total consoles sold, in which Sony is in last. :)

once again, rate is more important then total consoles sold. if you answer yes to the following question, then total sales is more important. but i will answer for you now, No: ps3 takes 101 years to sell 150 million units, is that successful?

hmmmmm PS3.....150 million units in 101 years.....

then the 360 will sell around billions by that time :lol:

[QUOTE="IronBass"][QUOTE="stylesPS3"] i guess it makes sense for selective reasoning when you practive selective quoting. Microsoft is in Last Place for Rate of Sale, regardless of your selective months.stylesPS3
There was nothing "selective" on my reasoning. The gap was 6 millions, is 8 millions now. :)

once again, doesnt change the rate of sale, which microsoft is in last :)

Yet alas, PS3 is still behind totally :lol:

[QUOTE="IronBass"][QUOTE="stylesPS3"]what is it you dont understand?stylesPS3
What I do understand is that the gap between the both is getting bigger :o

i guess it makes sense for selective reasoning when you practive selective quoting. Microsoft is in Last Place for Rate of Sale, regardless of your selective months.

And regardless of the rates, PS3 is still waaaaaaaaaaaaay behind in total sales this gen :lol:

Honestly, looking at this thread really shows me how delusional fanboys can be. I remember when Sega, Nintendo, and MS fanboys used to make pointless arguments as well when their consoles were losing to the ps1 and ps2. Face it, this time around Sony is last no matter how you try to spin it. Just go be happy and enjoy your games, none of you work for these companies.

Renegade_Fury

Agreed. I feel pity to those who began to brag about the sales of their consoles. It makes me think they've lost their trust in its games.

[QUOTE="Heatdrifter"]

[QUOTE="stylesPS3"] and that doesnt change the fact that the 360 is in last place for rate of sale.

stylesPS3

and that doesn't change the fact that the PS3 overall sales is still waaaaaaaaaaay behind this gen

rate is more important then total. look at ps2s rate, u think that success was only based on total? what if it took 100 years to reach it, would it still be successful?

Rate turns into crap if it can't change the total

[QUOTE="-Malifor-"]Well, what do you know.. Despite everyone trying to tell me that the PS3 is trailing 360 in sales, at the start of the year it was actually the other way around. I worked this out for my own gratification, but I thought I would share. I would like to see how it looks if I could get some more recent figures. Average sales per day since release: PS3 - 27,272 360 - 22,007 Well, how about that. the PS3 has sold on average 5,000 more consoles a day than the 360. Based on these figures. PS3 release date - 11/11/2006 360 release date - 22/11/2005 PS3 sales of 21.3 million by 31/12/2008 (781 days since release) 360 sales of 25 million by 01/01/2009 (1136 days since release) All these figures taken from: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Console_wars#Worldwide_sales_figures_6stylesPS3

Face it fanboys, wether you like it or not, the current sales of PS3 won't change the fact that it's still way behind the sales of 360 overall.Either accept the fact or whine for all I care is that it won't change anything and gaming quality is a more worthy aspect of the PS3 than its sales.

At first I did hated the Wii. But when I played SSBB, MadWorld, Punch Out, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom, I think the Wii is great and unique in its own form but for now it won't be enough to be recognized as a stand-alone console especially to gamers who started with either a PS3 or a 360.

In my opinion, the console still lacks the hardcore factor, but it's not a bad thing otherwise because of the fun that it can give casually.

[QUOTE="Adamantium4k2"]

Before E3, most gamers ( admitedly including myself) were making claims that the Xbox 360 was doomed in '09 with next to no great games, only more multiplats. Now that E3 has come and gone, has your expectations changed for the 360's '09 lineup and beyond?

Jono789
Not really, now i just think everyone that works for microsoft are absolute slimeballs who have no idea what the word innovation means

Same goes to PS3 and Wii
