I agree that its PR BS, or whatever you want to call it. I was looking forward to buying and playing this game on the PC for many months now, since I can get the best graphics on my PC over my 360 and glad it was coming out at the same time as the consoles. Now they announce that it won't be, so I won't be buying it either.

I will go play some more GTA V on my HDMI 360 (which still has blurry effects thanks to no anti-aliasing or anisotropy effects, but fun anyway).

@Vojtass Agreed. The first time my friends and I played Thief (original) we all played it on the hardest mode possible, and if you killed someone, you lose the mission.

Had to collect all the goodies, a ton of gold, and kill NO-ONE or its mission failure.

More games need to be like this, and I can't wait for Thief 4, this has been on my wish list for a very long time.

I want to see dolphins. I'll be very upset if I don't get to see a school of dolphins playing at leading the ship at some point. That's the only reason I'd play this game.

@archav3n Hehe, I was playing games long before those came out... I remember them fondly but also remember lots more before them. :) I guess you aren't old enough to remember the original text adventures by Scott Adams I first played on the TI99/4A. (A computer before the C64)

Monkey Island was one of my favourite Lucasarts games, but my absolute fave was Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders. :)

Already preordered the digital deluxe. Played the first beta and it was awesome, leaving me wanting a lot more than 1 hour of gameplay. :) I love the fact that every single person, car, electrical pulse, sewage, etc is simmed and can be tracked. No more of "this street has lots of traffic so we will show many cars". Excellent sim.

Always online? I really don't care unless servers go down and we can't play. Thats the only annoying thing about always online.

Also: This year is seeing Sid bring back XCOM, Chris bringing back WC (In a different type of space MMO), lets hope that sometime in between his excursions to outer space, Richard brings back Ultima.

The Wing Commander games were awesome, even the live video cutscenes ones were awesome. I hope this is a new awesome game.

However I also hope he learned something from the movie (Chris mentions movies in this blog) because the Wing Commander movie was *the* worst movie I've ever seen in my life. To this day, my friends and I compare movies based on that piece of garbage. Rubber alien lizard suits, etc... Never want to waste an hour or so of my life on something like that again.

Lookin' good. Liked the first one, so far by what I've seen gonna love the 2nd one. Can't wait for sandbox mode to build and grow your city. That's the most attractive point of sale here.
