I've been waiting for a freaking long time for some news or SOMETHING on this game. I mean, hell....I literally just now saw something about this game being featured in 2015. Come on now, what's the hold up?

Now, if the game isn't ready...fine. But don't release this game totally broken and think you're gonna get away with the whole patch and update month after month garbage.

But seriously...WHEN IS THE RELEASE DATE!!

There is no option from the main menu for the jumpshot creator. I see on youtube that it's in the MyCareer mode, but it's not there for me. I go to the MyCareer option, create the player, then go straight to the schedule and play the games. THAT'S IT!!

Where is the jump shot creator option? Can somebody help me with this?

I'm not playing online by the way. It's 100% offline.

Okay....whatever I did when I disabled part of the driver on this Twin USB Controller thing seems to be working. It works in-game. Everything so far seems to be going great. Now if only I had a controller that wasn't raggedy.

@PredatorRules:

Okay....After a lot of tinkering with the properties, I managed to disable one of the Twin USB Joysticks and now the one I'm using seems to be the default. I don't know how long this is gonna work, because I'm getting that yellow error icon telling me to troubleshoot, and then when I trouble suit it's asking me to re-enable the other half of this thing. So I'm gonna keep this topic alive for a few more days in case something goes wrong.

In the mean time, thanx for the help.

@PredatorRules:

Okay....I feel dumber than a fox news fan right now....

SOMEHOW this thing is working now. This PC has so many blue USB 3.0 ports it's ridiculous. I noticed two open BLACK USB ports hiding back there and plugged in the controller via the converter. I went into the properties through the Devices and Printers folder and selected the SECOND game controller ("Twin USB Joystick"...there are two of them for some reason) on the list and tried the buttons and sticks....EVERYTHING WORKS!! The issue is the FIRST game controller on the list is the one that doesn't work.

Ugh!

I'm gonna try the game one more time and see if it works properly now. If not, then I think I know what the problem is. I have to somehow find a way to make the SECOND game controller on the list the default controller. Now if you can help me with THAT, then my problems should be all taken care of and I can delete this topic.

@HarlemVIP: search for USB3 converter - although it shouldn't be the problem, from my experience installing a USB2 drive into USB3 port will work but with decreased speed.

Not sure how this impacts converter and a PS2 controller but again, IMO it's either driver problem or trying to find USB3 converter.

Anyhow I would rather buy a new 20-40$ controller like the ones I've suggested from Logitech (or any other company if you wish) and having no problems at all.

I've been using a regular (or knock off) PS2 controller for years without any issues. If what you say is true about the Logitech controllers then I'll definitely do it, but it's still gonna come down to the adapter to plug it into my PC. I'm gonna start looking for USB 3.0 adapters or converters. I have a feeling I'm gonna keep finding the same ones like the one I have, but I'm gonna start my search.

That's just what I've been saying. I DO have an adapter for my PS2 controller. I've ALWAYS had one. For YEARS now. I just recently bought a new one to go with my new PC. Here's a picture of it.

What I've been saying is that the computer acknowledges that it's plugged in. It comes up in the Devices and Printers folder. But when I go into properties it's not working. None of the axis things are moving to show that it acknowledges the controller. I go into troubleshooting and it tells me that my "device" isn't compatible with USB 3.0. That weird part is that the red analog light comes on as if the controller fully works so that I can use the analog sticks. I start NBA 2K17 and the buttons seem to be recognized, the analog light is on, but for some reason the sticks aren't working.

I know I'm not good at explaining things, so I guess I'm gonna have to put pictures up. They can tell the tale far better than my rambling a** could. But in the mean time, before I do that, let me know if anything makes any more sense.

Okay, I bought and built a new PC back in November And I'm literally JUST NOW getting around to installing a game that requires a controller (NBA 2K17). I'm using a Playstation 2 controller via an adapter. I'm using Windows 10 and all of my USB ports are 3.0 and one 3.1 port.

I plug in my controller and adapter and notice it's not working. I go into the properties and try to collaborate the controller. Nothing happens. I play the game and the buttons are working, but the sticks are unresponsive, even though the analog light comes on when I press the button. I go back into the properties and click on "troubleshoot" and a message comes up saying the adapter won't work because it's not compatible with USB 3.0 (apparently it's 2.0).

So can anybody help me with this? I don't even know how to fix this or if there's some kind of device to look for online that can get my 2.0 adapter to work in a 3.0 USB port.

Please help!

Thanx in advance

Might be a driver issue, look in device manager if you've got ??? drivers - it could be that you forgot to install something like https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21129/USB-3-0-Driver-Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Controller-Driver-for-Intel-7-Series-C216-Chipset-Family

I'm confused...I downloaded the utility tool and ran it. It just tells me there are no drivers detected. I installed all of the drivers for my new PC when I built it, and I make sure everything is up to date, so I don't think that's the problem because the regular buttons on the controller seems to work in-game. Even the analog light comes on. Only the sticks aren't recognized in-game. When I open the properties for the controller in the Devices and Printers section, nothing is active or recognized at all. It's not even allowing me to collaborate the controller. It's that troubleshoot message that pops up that caught me off guard about my device being of a later USB version and not working with USB 3.0 that I don't understand...especially since I've been reading online that USB 3.0 is supposed to be backward compatible. I hope this paints a better picture.

Now, just to let you know, this is the ONLY GAME I've installed and tried the controller with. It's gonna suck if I have to uninstall it in favor of a game that's exclusive to the mouse and keyboard.

@GTR12: Holy crap, I LOVE these speakers! I never ask for much when it comes to certain things. All I needed was some bass that you could notice and some really good sound. These speakers have gone above and beyond ANYTHING I could have expected, and on top of that, they were VERY cheap. The subwoofers on the sides give me everything I need. Dragon Age sounds great. That's all I ever asked for. I saw a ton of reviews complaining about the sound and bass not being up to par for them and that the only people who would like these things are those who have low standard for bass and sound.....NOT TRUE!! These things are perfect. I don't see how anybody could complain about them unless you're trying to light up a damn concert hall or something.
