[QUOTE="Grim_Reaper007"][QUOTE="caseystryker"]I had to take my PS3 apart to get Mirrors Edge out after it died. It was already past it's warranty date so it didn't really matter. Then I just sent it in, paid $150 and got it fixed.caseystryker
Guess I'll do the same, I'll take it apart over the weekend. $150 for repair :? I'm not willing to pay that. Oh well, I can probably get a pretty good trade in value for my ps3 console and collection (Seeing as GameStop doesnt check if the systems work).
I don't know about that, I'm pretty sure they hook it up and turn it on to test it out. I'm not 100% sure, but you may want to find out. When my first 360 got RROD (didnt take advantage of 3 year warranty since mine was modded) they didn't test it when i traded it in. I don't want to sound like a fanboy by replacing the 360 and not the PS3, but not only have I had a 360 break, my Wii eventually died (though not worth replacing), and now my PS3, I'm just getting sick of paying for these systems, especially seeing as my SNES and Genesis still work perfectly after all these years.
