How many people refuse to buy a delayed game when it finally comes out. Just refuse to experience the game, even if it ends up highly rated. Just sit there and say, "Nope, I reFUSE to partake!"?
@shingui5 @blobby-blobby Quite easy most of the time? Either I'm missing something or playing the wrong character type. It took me three weeks to kill the flamelurker, and I eventually did it by trapping him in a corner and firing arrows at him. The only bosses I found "easy" were the Spider God thingy and the one where the woman is reading her book in the chapel.
I had to cheat to beat the "Maneater" and now I'm up to that 20' glowing gold guy.
@shingui5 I still feel like a need multiple run-throughs on Demon's Souls, because I played the first time with no hints or spoilers, I'm realizing I missed out on TONS of equipment upgrades for my character. If it hadn't been for forums, I'd never known that if you give the Gold Mask to the short man at the end of the bar who's wearing a brown tweed jacket that he'd give you a password to give to the doorman of the Ongo Bongo club in whose basement you can find a voucher for a special sword.
I liken Demon's Souls to a crazy hot chick. You keep coming back, but keep wondering why you put up with the drama.
I haven't yet finished Demon's Souls because I keep leaving it, but I've been back the last few weeks. Dark Souls still sits on my shelf, unopened. I can't wait.
More and more of these childish creeps have come into the Gamespot community, because more and more people are on the Gamespot community. It's a simple matter of numbers. Gaming used to just be a small niche. We're in a renaissance of games... and gamers. If 4% of gamers are... well, assholes, 4% of 100,000 users is a much bigger number than 4% of 10,000. People aren't getting worse, there are just... more people.
