Says the guy who is taking 11 years to release a sequel while the MCU has released 3 iron man, captain america, and avengers movies within 5 years for each. Avatar was... ok not amazing. Perhaps this is where camerons attention is, instead of making his movies.
@gamestar73: Thing is people who own a gaming pc pretty much will have a pc stronger than scorpio and all of microsofts exclusives come to PC now. The purest reason to own any console is it's games and microsoft is proving each year that they don't have that exclusive game to pull people to their platform. Playstation this year alone has released Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza zero, Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, Neir Automata, MLB the show, and Persona 5. That's 7 games this year alone and microsoft has only done halo wars 2...
That's not even including games like yakuza kiwami, ni no kuni 2, GT sport, hellblade, crash bandicoot remake, ffxii lost Zodiac, uncharted lost legacy, etc that will be out at some point this year. I mean sure you will have a more powerful system to play on if you're looking at it from just a console perspective, however i have a PC more powerful than scorpio and a ps4 so i'm not losing out on any game that comes out.
Last thing because people like to use it, you can build a comparable pc system as capable as the scorpio for around the same price and have the benefit of cheaper games, and the fact that it's a pc.
I was ecstatic when they announced that they were making a new phantom dust. Then when it was cancelled i was quite upset. This game was one of my favorites when it came out and is certainly a hidden gem that many didn't know about.
The re-release is a silver lining for me. Now i get to play the game again with multiplayer.
While it is disappointing that the tales games aren't making the jump to higher hardware, it's nice that they are making the move to 60fps without the need for extra files like zestiria did.
Two words, Capture card.... Most people who actually do record or stream already use capture cards because they are worlds better than the service that the PS4 provides. However to limit the people who can't or don't have a pc with capture capability simply because you don't want the game spoiled is asinine... the only people who spoil anything for anyone are themselves because they are the ones going and viewing the content being streamed/recorded.
So for developers to restrict that option is pretty stupid.
@vilified_signals: I don't consider sun and moon until release. Also i said 5 because the first is already out. I mean if you read you would see that but of course your impulse to "try" and correct someone because it's the "cool" thing to do.
They have 5 generations of pokemon to release, several features to implement, and a very strong fan base. It's very possible for it to stick around. It all depends on niantics ability to release this content in a decent fashion.
Until Microsoft removes the API used for loading games, i would rather have them on steam. One of the key reasons gamers play on PC is either the ability to mod their games, or play without restrictions found on consoles. Ask anyone about the debacle that was tomb raider.
Also a side note is that it's rather cumbersome to find games you've bought on the windows store as you don't have a game list.
@milk: Show me this "proof" then, because many companies even blizzard on overwatch has stated that the reason they don't do cross platform is because PC players will have an advantage, not just game performance wise, but control's as well.
