@forester057: throw in some nice set pieces and people lose their minds that's all there is to it really but yeah unchartes gameplay has always been pretty meh same with the story typical summer flick BS nothing truly amazing (TLOUS did better here). Brain dead platforming and me too 3rd person shooting the honestly feels like it was an attempt to copy gears of war when i first played it. The gameplay isn't what drives the series.
@001011000101101 @Jugistoteles Halo does have a deep universe but you are right the games are actually pretty bad a fleshing it out in the games which would be a problem if it weren't for the superb multilayer. Essentially though Halo in a nutshell is a space zombie opera at least for the first 3 games . Not about blowing up aliens because they re evil but because they are religious zealots hellbent on destroying the galaxy. You can get the big picture just from playing the game but the finer bits def require some digging.
Will be interesting to see how this sales I mean fighting games don't really move mountains in terms of sales and SF4 sold a pretty much half of it's copies on the 360.
After destiny and now this Im starting to wonder if the industry is making these fake MMO's just to hold off reviews I mean really theres no reason this review should have taken so long to come out the crew is not an MMO just because you can see other people driving around at times and playing with 3 other people really doesn't change the experience at all from what ive played. I just don't get why these games are getting the mmo review courtesy when they aren't MMO's and clearly it's an attempt to hold off bad scores. The fact that publishers have so much control over reviews is pretty disturbing quite frankly.
@darthvandersag @Pawfalcon I have absolutely no faith and they ability to make the divison a good game I just dont haven't had that faith in ubisoft since conviction ruined splinter cell for me quite frankly. Its a cool idea but the execution will be poor classic ubi.
@ArabrockermanX why not its a pretty darn ugly game even the ps3 and 360 had stuff that looked better and no the size of the world isn't an excuse at all. It seems more like a gimmick that they wasted all of their dev time on instead of making a good racing game.
@georgjames exactly GS has given plenty games with launch issues high scores but now all of the sudden it's different. They are just unfairly trying to make an example out of halo cause of the whole broken game bad wagon thats going on right now like it's anything new.
