@Pedro Just because a game isn't broken dosen't mean it deserves a mediocre rating. Mediocre actually implies some form of a decent game there and from what it sounds like there isn't. Also there isn't any sort of set in stone rule that says just because a game works it gets at least a 5 in fact that would be a terrible rule because there are some truly terrible games out there that work fine but def dont deserve a 5.

Cant say im surprised I mean platinum isn't exactly a huge studio and between bayonetta 2 and scalebound there was no way this was gonna get the proper amount of love it deserved . Seems to me like something they had to pump out quick and dirty because they were contractually obligated to. In fact Activision being the publisher means it was exactly that a quick way to pump the die hard fans of the show for some easy money personally I wont hold it against platinum. The industry is a tuff place for a studio like theirs right now and they gotta pay the bills somehow.

I like it so far the atmosphere is thick and you really have to manage your resources carefully or you'll quickly find yourself in a jam. Game does have some truly tense and scary moments and the difficulty is actually nicely tuned. Your not some over powered rambo god. You have a nice arsenal but you need to play smart you'll quickly find yourself with only your fists to save you.

@princeev Nintendo published it and Im sure they wouldn't have if it didn't it didnt include a exclusive rights. Maybe not the whole series but def this entry at the very least so I wouldn't hold my breathe.

Knew this game would be great but the real issue has and will continue to be will it actually sell. Bayonetta 1 was a great game as well and sold lukewarm as a multi platform title. It's just not a system seller imo and has to niche of an audience it seems. Add in the fact that the install base for the wii is like no where close to what bayonetta released to. This game faces a truly uphill battle imo. Truly unfortunate but imma hope for the best despite what my rational mind is thinking.

3rd person view while trying to aim flashlight with light bar? That sounds like torture like when will devs stop trying to force these gimmicks into their games.
