@MakeMeaSammitch: Thing is what you are really paying for is the name people see gucci and they know how much you paid for it if its real that's where the real value lies not in the materials or construction. Its the prestige and attention you get for having such a belt. You want people to know youre a baller just from looking at you. Think of all the action youll get forom the opposite sex ect. That may sound silly but its real and some people are willing to pay to obtain it. Nothing wrong with that imo.

In a perfect world no but in reality probably will get to keep it. It's sad that republicans can be sore losers like this and just take the country hostage when they feel like it. Regardless of where you stand on the ACA you have to agree that it's absurd what they are doing. The thing passed into law and was proven constitutional + Republicans attacked it at every chance they had and failed. At that point it should be done with. Obama has made consessions already with them leading up to this point and probably would be willing to work with the republicans more  but he shouldn't have to at gunpoint with the country on the line thats BS. So i agree with his stance on not negotiating with hostage takers. Anybody who says he's not willing to negotiate is full of it imo.

This whole thing made even more sad and shameful by the fact that they have basically said they are gonna do back pay. so now we are just throwing away millions apon millions of dollars over BS what a joke. Quick research says 300mil a day to be exact so we just threw away a billion dollars(in paychecks alone) + whatever else it costs to stop and start stuff last week because we got it like that apparently we got it like that.

That's great and all but I seriously hate the analog placement on the DS so I will most likely stick to the 360/One controllerXxR3m1xInHDn3D

Same the touch pad stuff is nothing but a gimmick that will only serve to make games worse like 6 axis and forced motion controls on teh wii / wii u. The triggers are quite ghastly and yeah the stick placement is def a deal killer. Its like reaching out into the middle of the universe with your left thumb it just doesn't feel right and makes it harder to control. At least the sticks aren't convex anymore man those were awful. The real only advantage DS has left imo is the d pad and ill have to get hands on with the xOne controller to see if thats still true.

Infinite wins over hyped GOTY award from me. Its a good game but man the way people were acting when it came out was overkill. I really didn't like the linearity of it too compared to the 1st two. I mean the first game wasn't GTA by any  means but the lvls were layed out in a way that you could do some exploring and choose which objectives to tackle first and how. Infinite has a much more linear design to it. The story was good but i mean in many areas Bioshock is lacking compared to other shooters. The overall handling of the guns still leave a ton to be desired and most of the powers had many of the same uses so many became pointless especially since it costs a fortune to lvl them up. You end up using a small bread n butter set. Also I remember being really dissapointed by the way powers were introduced in Infinite. BS1 it was this major cinematic moment in Infinite its like oh hey there's super powers over there.

I could write a whle essay on this games flaws but it's def worth it at that price.

Well the game will have jags regardless consoles don't have much in the way of resource's for AA but will look worse if you aren't playing in HD. So if you aren't using HDMI what are you using?

nope there's a fundamentally different way the programs work especially regards to memory space. Which is why 64 bit stuff is incompatible with 32 bit stuff. So you cant fake it.

The difference between 150k triangles and 85k triangles isn't going to be noticeable. Even 50k triangles is extremely high.

That's not really a downgrade rather than an optimization. It will have no noticeable effect on how the game looks.

StrongBlackVine

Exactly what i was gonna say def sounds like 150K was overkill and they lowered not like it was done out of necesity. This is extremely common in game develiopment.

Still a downgrade regardless. Overpromise, underdeliver. They should not have made such a big about then go back on it.

Its not a downgrade. I have actually did some 3d game programming before and just because you lower the poly count doesn't mean its a downgrade. Imagine you have a simple 6 sided cube shape. I could define it with 8 vertices's indexed and it would be made out of 12 triangles. Now i could also go ahead and use  1000 verts and then the cube would be made out of 333 triangles(every 3 verts is a triangle) which is more right? guess what though the cube looks exactly the same as when as when it was made from only 12. No different no better in fact worse because now you are using processing time on all these verts/triangles that wont even change the look of the model.

Same thing is happening here. Fact of the matter is there is only so many triangles you can add to something to increase detail before it becomes pointless and a waste processing power. There's also tessellation these days so instead of ram ping up poly counts you can tessellate things on the fly for more detail when you need it like a close up and less when you don't.
