@demonkingx5 @highlanderjimd I don't mind buying games for my ps3. Publishers have been marking down new games left and right. Generally it happens about two weeks after the initial launch. Dead Space 3 is going down to 40 bucks tomorrow.

@highlanderjimd @Gekko135 Seriously. My library isn't even that impressive... but I have a few games that have been sitting on the shelf that I need to play and beat. I shouldn't even be thinking about a new console right now.

The system will drop in price by the time the first generation models of the ps4 are bricking and malfunctioning anyway.

Let's all be honest people. With the amount of games we don't play/haven't finished in our backlog... we realistically won't even need this console for another 2 years.

Console prices... sigh... oh first world problems.

@Geminon @Gekko135 I can agree with that. Besides, they'll be making most of their bank off the predictable online service subscriptions. The funny thing is that Sony kind of shoots themselves in the feet for failing to realize that most western gamers are on the low income side of the spectrum. Nickle and diming with small payments is what gets the real bread. Especially if it's digital. Sony's propriatary mindset for the Vita (their overpriced memory cards for example) is what is hurting it over here.
