@FollowY0urBliss @SnakeEyesX80 It could also be a good thing for gamestop and similar retailers. Since poeple wont be able to sell games themselves because of the whole preowned fee ,poeple looking to unload one of their games will have to go to gamestop(or equivalent).
@xsonicchaos Im guessing you really wont be able to since poeple would have to pay full price on top of what they pay you, which no sane person would do.
@JunglemanchiId I dont think thats how it works though. I think the £35 is if you insert a disk already registered to another account(essentially allowing you to buy the game without getting a disk of you own). If you get it through gamstop or another qualified vendor the game will be unregistered from its previous owner and not prompt an activation fee. MS will however take a cut from gamestops sale. Thats I understand it anyway, and I still dont like it.
@Dannystaples14 If you go through an "unqualified" retailer or a friend it will cost that. If you go through for example gamestop, the game will be unregistered and you wont be promted to pay when you get it, however MS and publish partners will take a cut from gamestops revenue. Thats my understanding anyway.
@olegavi323 True, but the wording doesnt indicate that imo. Saying they are a generation ahead of top spec pcs to me sounds like a comparison of power. otherwise he should have said a generation ahead of the current pc generation.
