@monker490 Of course the ps3 would beat out a pc with identical specs to said platform(if the cell was avaliable on pc), but that is beside the point. Even today the ps4 does not match the specs of a top-of-the-line pc and its not even released. Of course, having that pc does little good because games are made for the avarage pc, which the ps4 most definitely beats.

@Code-Llama I dont think the ps4 can outmatch the best pcs even today. Pretty much all you have said is true, but I think the major factor is that developers dont push pc graphics too much because only a handful of people would have the hardware too play it. I think the point of the article is that the ps4 is like the 2014/15 avarage pc.

On a side note, gddr5 is not better as system ram in general, it has higher latency which is why it isnt used as system ram on pcs. How that works out on the ps4 I dont know, it might be moot as the primary goal of the ps4 is to play games, and that is where gddr5 is great.

@okassar I also prefer the xbox controller, even though I dont have an xbox :). I wonder why they decided to keep the analogs next to eachother, it feels way more natural with the left analog to the far left. They are also in the way when you would use the touchpad(if ever), it even showed in the video, he hit the analogs when he was demonstrating the touchpad.

While Im sad I wont see any more racing games from them in the foreseeable future (them being my favorite arcade racing studio and all), I must say I am excited to see what else they can come up with.

@adro191 Whats the problem? We all have internet nowadays anyway so it would work just the same but with added benefits like turning it on before you get home so they are warm and toasty as you walk through the door.

@DramacydalN3D If I were to guess Id say most of the announced games can be played offline, but no I havent heard any specifics.

@DramacydalN3D Who said the PS4 will play online games offline? If a game is online only you will need to be online, regardless of which console youre on.

@Yulaw2000 It does seem like a lot if all it is, is a vanilla minecraft server. Maybe there is more to it than that, we will have to wait and see I guess. Wont use it either way as I have my own server.
