ARGH, just heard about this 20 minutes ago, and frankly, not happy.

Gamepot Live productions have been markedly worse since Rich left and now Geoff's gone aswell it's only gonna get worse (which is a shame because to me the Live productions were pretty much my only draw to the site, apart from to watch/readthe occassional review... which obviouslyaint gonna happen now)

Here's hoping the rest of the team can handle making quality programmes.

Dear God, this game has so many modes it makesmy teeth hurt.

Event matches rule hard, but still, it's been a while since any TRULY earthshaking came along... which is why tomorrow I predict:

So on Saturday i went to my girlfriend's house and find out her brother got Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2, so I had a go on a few of the beginner tracks and it was SUPER fun. I've never had a console that had a Guitar Hero game on it so I missed the whole craze, but now Guitar Hero 3 is out for the Wii and I thought it might be the perfect Christmas present... but I hear it's WAY hard...

Cos I don't have access to any other Guitar Hero games should I just go with 3 and have as much fun as I can with that or should I not bother and get something else for Crimbo?

This game can't come fast enough... still praying Young Link survives the cut, or that they replace him with Wind Waker Link (surely he's a dead-cert after Phantom Hourglass... here's hoping!!!)

that gamespot preview video was a godsend. made the combat look just as good as it did in Melee, which is a huge relief. all i will say is that it looks like holding down the A button unleashes attacks way to fast, to the point where they're un-dodgeable. It probably still needs a bit of balancing.

as for todays update, more online options = always a good thing.

Am I gonna complain about a 2-player campaign? am i buggery! :P

Looks interesting, blatently Lucas is just Ness but with his mout constantly open (and the worlds daftest quiff...) but i don't mind, as there's a guy I severely dislike called Lucas so I can already feel the satisfaction of punching his tiny face off.

This is the first time I've ever heard of Lucas so I've no idea what he's associated with in theMother games. Can anyone shed any light on what his moves might be based on his past game appearances?

anyways, Trophies. Fantastic. I think we're all agreed that the fear we felt after the sticker update a while backhas (finally)been lifted.

Diddy Kong's Final Smash looks interesting, sort of carpet bombing the arena, will be awesome on Final Destination if they bring it back, maybe even make for some good mid-air dogfights too XD looking forward to tomorrow.

Am I the only one who didn't like Snake's move list? it looks like his down Smash attack is gonna lay a mine... wtf :/ and his up-and-B looks daft.

When it comes down to it the more chatacters the better, but when you're looking at Snake and Diddy Kong... I think I'm gonna be sticking withthe veterans personally
