I love it and its kinda funny cos half i ppl i know who are nay-sayers of Vista don't actually have it :D :D :D

I havent had any problems on Vista that M$ or the game studios havent patched. SP1 should clear the issues though.

No offence or anything but we aren't here to build your rig for you. Try posting a build plan and we can advise you but this is just a tad lazy.

It might not be your keyboard thats the problem. You mention hitting a combo of keys which include the shift key. It may be that you've turned sticky keys on (hitting shift 5 times). Try (not in a game) hitting shift 5 times and then disabling sticky keys. It may help.

Err.... This is the PC industry we are talking about. If you live in the 'now' you get left behind pretty quickly so we need to look to the future to keep ahead of times. Its how it has and will always work.

Anyone who has Vista would know that when you make a folder and try to change the icon to the cool looking ones that Vista assigns to the ones in your [My Documnets] you get given some plain looking ones to use. I found this myself so don't post telling me is been done b4 :).

Make a shortcut on your desktop.

Make sure that your shortcut directory is for your C:\

You will notice that the icon is the good looking one displayed in [My Computer]

Then right click the shortcut and click change icon.

Note the icon DLL directory is [C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dll]

Copy this directory and go to any folder and right click > change icon, then paste this into the icon directory.

The default for user made folders is [%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll]

There, you now have access to the nice looking icons that Vista uses.
