Are you planning to do SLi now or in the future? If not, downgrade that motherboard to a P35 one. I've heard that the Centurion 5 can fit the 8800GTX but it might be a bit tight in there.
However overall, that a very nice build there.

Yep, its a very good build. Plus TicTacs right about the case but i think u should keep the Mobo just in case you need an extra kick in the future if u decide to get another card. Just a suggestion :)
Is there anyway to check what type memory you have? Like if its PC6400 or whatever. I know its DDR2 I just cant remember the latency and stuff. Also, I have 2x512mb in my PC now if I were to upgrade to 4x512mb do I need exactly the same memory as in latency and speed? Does it have to be the same make as well? Thanks.Big_Bad_Sad
IF your RAM sticks are matching you get better stability from them. They would need to be the same speed.
To check our RAM type just download SiSSandra from the net. It'll give you the details you need. IF theres an easier way feel free to correct me :)
Your GPU is not great. Sorry to inform you. I'm running a X2300 and it doesn't run smoothly at all high settings and the Sims2 is still a quite graphically demanding game so its not because of Vista thats giving you bad preformance.
You can get a game patch for the Sims from Maxis website for better compatability.

u got an old pc, so running vista won't be a good idea... and u need like at least 2giga of ram so u can run vista smothly..

No, sorry your wrong. I'm running home premium on 1GB and it runs just as smoothly as XP did. 2GB is not necessary in any means to just run the operating system.
I use Firefox and when ever i go to centre my sig for the forums it doesn't work. I hit the centre text button and it shows it centred but when i hit apply changes it resets it. I toggle the html tab and insert the code to centre the image and it still resets it. Is this a known issue? It's quite annoying.
