I know your not asking me but i live in Australia and i get 20ping playing on Gamearena servers (in Australia) on a 512 speed.

I use a laptop with a 5400rpm HDD and it boots up in 15 seconds fully.

Core 2 Duo T5500

1GB RAM

it's home premium too.

If your using Firefox maybe you could have that NoScript extenstion thats asking to block it. Just disable it or uninstall the extention if thats the case.

Ping is the tim it takes for a packet to be sent to a server and the time it takes to get back.

1. Fast internet connection.

2. Also playing on servers that are close to you. Preferably in your country.

3. Don't run programs in the background that take up CPU or bandwidth.

Try putting all settings in a game to max. Get it? Running at maximum....LOL, well i found it funny

are you sure your monitor supports higher resolutions?

you got your drivers from AMD site and you have ATi card (according to your sig)?
