Most anything released in the last year won't disappoint you you. I really liked: CoD4(huge sniping difference and general long range shots), DMC4, GT5:P, Wipeout HD, Soul Caliber 4, Madden 09, Uncharted, The Darkness, and Burnout.

Even though you didn't ask for Blu-ray: BBC: Planet Earth (easily some of the most beautiful video ever captured), No Country for Old Men, Transformers.

[QUOTE="lbjkurono23"]Why do reviews matter so much!? the guys that wright them are normal people like you and I :opyromaniac223

They are not normal people like you and I. They are overly ignorant so called "journalists" with NO CREDIBILITY. Their word is garbage. At the end of the day, all a person really has is their word. If your word is garbage, then you are garbage.

They are always late on news stories too. You can get more well written news stories from Kotaku and n4g.

So, uh, I guess that the MGS4 review was horrible and really off then.

Stop acting like every single game has a 5gb install. They don't. yes, more and more of them do have an install, but it rarely that big. Only a couple games have a 5gb insall. You don't have to keep the install on the system. deleting them is very quick and easy.

You filled up half a 20gb hdd in one year. So in another year you will be looking to buy another proprietay hdd from microsoft because you filled yours up.

Most people won't be storing a bunch of movies on their system, but those that want to can and have options. After 10 years of dlc games, saves, music, and movies I will be glad that I have a 250gb hdd.

Ummmm you don't get any money for your achievements, sorry to break it to ya. I don't really care for the most part. I feel really good when I kick ass in a game and get a really hard to get achievement/trophy, but that is about it. Most of them aren't set at those points. I really don't underand the people that will go way out of their way to get a meaningless achievement to pad thier gs.

It makes me think of this kid: http://images.encyclopediadramatica.com/images/4/4a/Xbawks.jpg

wow.....jimmeny jillekers Radioactive Man.

Headset: I use the one I already had for my phone.

HDMI cables: I got mad haggling skills and talked my TV salesman into giving me a free one when I bought my TV. It pays not to shop at best buy. Find a local seller, you can work with them. I also haggled another one out of my comcast sales rep. They will do anything to sign a new customer. Their commission is far more than the cost of a cable.

Ethernet cable: Over the years I have amassed a collection of cables. I have more ethernet cables than I have devices to connect them too. If you haven't done that yet, then knock on your neighbors door, he probably has multiple. Think of it like getting a cup of sugar.

Controller: It comes with the best controller and a charging cable. Even if you have to buy a new one, they may be $60 but it is still cheaper than 360 controllers.....assuming you want the same plug and play capabilities. When it comes to 3rd party controllers the ps3 has better ones too, like the FragFX by Splitfish. I love that controller for my shooters. My ps3 controller may or may not last this entire generation, but I know that your 360 won't.........ooooo that means that mine won't either.

HDD: I just upgraded to a 250gb for 80 bucks. Got in on a nice sale at Fry's. The 360 HDD is $100 for 20gb.....it isn't special in any way. It too is a laptop hdd, except it is in a bulky case.

MS nickle and dimes it's customers way more than Sony. Most buisnesses do it. Some more than others.

If I wanted to put forth the effort I would respond to each of your bullet points, instead I will destroy your post with simply this:

the 360 has the biggest library this gen along with the biggest variety.

to actual users at the end of the day, review scores mean very little, since people all have different tastes and what you might enjoy playing I might hate, even if it scores really high.

at the end of the day, the games are all that matters. And for the average gamer, the 360 is probably your best choice because of that.

It is only a good machine for games if it still runs properly to play the games. All of my friends with 360's have had to send theirs to MS at least once to be fixed. Most of them multiple times. Usually around the 4th fix they sell it and buy a PS3.

People still put stock in GS reviews??????? I had no idea. Ever since the changing of the guard at GS, the reviews are pointless. The 2 games are very different. Why compare them? yes they are both shooters, but mega man is also a shooter. compare FPS vs. FPS and so on. If you haven't played a game, then don't bash it like you know what you are talking about.

[QUOTE="EnigmaticBeauty"]COD4 is fantastic and truthfully, I think it will be better than World At WarCyberfairy

I don't think that. COD 5 will have more features, better graphics, more weapons and maps then cod 4. Also flamethrowers and tanks.

That only works if Treyarch can exicute it properly. I am all for a new CoD, but it has to be executed right. If the maps are no good, then what is the point in having more?

Community makes a big difference in online gaming. When I last had xbl, which was a while ago, it was filled with young kids. Not that the PSN dosen't have them, it just seems to have a lot less. I like that less people have mics on the psn, that way I don't have to hear the kids and other jerks. On the PSN I seemed to have run into a lot more friendly people more regularly than I did on xbl. Was that luck, or the times in which I was playing?

Plus with the lack of mics on the psn it makes it even funnier when out of the silence in a lobby you hear someone's wife or mother yell at them.
