I bought the PS3 first, hooked it up to my SD t.v. and by the next day I was able to convince my girlfriend that my t.v. was too old and crappy and "broken" to be used on such a magnificent system. The next day I went and bought a 27 inch HDtv. If I would've come home with the 40+ inch t.v. she would've killed me!JKnaperekWhy do women hate big tvs so much? I don't understand. For some reason they also hate a nice surround sound system. However they have to have all those shoes and bits of jewelry.

I ended up getting VC. I am waiting for it to install now. I have a 360, and was thinking about getting it for the 360 because of all the glitch problems that were reported with the ps3 version. though I would really rather buy if for the ps3 on principle alone. I hate MS business tactics with the paying off for exclusive content, and so I would rather not support them when they do that. I like my 360 and all, but in general I would rather buy all my multiplat games for my PS3.
Is there word on another patch for Fallout coming out to iron out what they didn't fix in the last patch? Well I will get it eventually. I am not worried. Thank you for all your advice.
I realize just how different the games are. I really want both of them. I just can't decide what would be the best to purchase right now. I actually have more games right now than I have time to play. I just came across 60 bucks and want to put it toward a game so I have it for when I have the time for it. I have heard the Valkyria Chronicles is kinda hard to find, and it will probably only get harder. Since it got burried under all the other games that came out, it didn't sell very well. I am just thinking that it might turn into another game like Shadow of the Colossus, where it is fantastic and very hard to find.
What do you think?
Burnout is definitely the most frustrating game I've played for a while. I cannot count how many times I shook the controller vigorously after crashing. I never threw it away though except on my bed.bloodlingThen you sir have not played Wipeout HD or Megaman 9
You are right about the respecting our elders, or at least acting like it wen necessary.
Maybe has to do with where you grew up. I didn't notice any bickering until the Playstation vs N64. Before the Genesis and SNES I had a NES as did all of my friends. If you had a game system you had a NES. The same was true for Atari. Though I was one of the few kids who also had a Colecovision.
Back in the day we didn't argue over review scores. You either liked the game or you didn't. Nobody followed NPD numbers. The only numbers we followed were sequal numbers, and how the next one will inevitably be better. Conversations about who had what system included: "Wow, you have a Genesis, do you have Sonic?" "Yeah, whoah you have a Super Nintendo? Do you have Street Fighter 2?" "Yeah, it's awesome." When a console discussion turned into an argument it over who's house we going to go to first. Back then it was just about the games and how cool they were.
It isn't fair to review SOCOM at this point. The game is fantastic, but the server issues are a huge let down. GS should have just put up a statement about the server issues, saying that until the servers are fixed the game is unplayable and therefore unable to be reviewed. /6 failed with the release of the game, and rushed it out knowing about the issues from the beta. But it deserves to be noted that once you get into a game, and it is running properly what you have is fantastic. Instead GS in their infinite void of wisdom gave the game a poor score knowing that didn't reflect the true game. If it weren't for these forums I would never come to this waste of server space that is Gamespot.
As far as LBP is concerned, a 1 week delay isn't bad. I wish the game wasn't altered, but whatever, that doesn't change the incredible gameplay. When all is said and done most of the sales of the game won't be made in the first week anyway.
