Well you answered your own queries through experience; the best way to do it! Glad it got its hooks into you. I suggest Yakuza 0 if you want to try the classic style of the franchise.

7...nice setting and art style; open world design and side activities are your typical Ubisoft slush.
Starfield, Alan Wake Remastered and Mario XCom 2 (or whatever its stupid subtitle is). All three systems getting equal attention. Until one of them disappoints me, in which case it's to the basement with them on an empty stomach.
Death Stranding: DC via PS Plus. This is seriously addicting.
Age of Empire II: Definitive Edition via Series X Game Pass. This is...well yeah, same thing.
1 and 4.
1 was a great wide linear adventure before it went all Ubisoft. 4 is my favorite of the current FC style for reasons I'm trying to remember, probably the setting.
No increase if you 'pay' in MS reward points, not yet at least. Keeping up those daily Bing searches of 'Phil Spencer is God' and 'I love you Phil' and so on for as long as I can.
@hardwenzen: Interesting. If AI is the solution I'm all for it. I know nothing about AAA game development but it seems so unsustainable.
Not something I do much but I'm going to jump back into Sniper Elite 4. The season pass was on sale for pennies therefore it's time to blast some Nazi testicle.
@hardwenzen: The optimistic wally in me reckons "Oh they're just greatly shortening their reveal to release timescale now" after the criticism they got for revealing games so far ahead of time. But this was the perfect opportunity to twist the knife after Xbox's recent troubles and they're just...didn't. Very strange.
Games are so expensive and take forever to make now and I don't see that getting better in the near future.
This is the generation of guzzling whatever the Gamepass and PS+ conveyer belts feed me and if MS / Sony regain the ability to release a good 1st party game that's a bonus.
