I don't understand how people can be bitching about this. If you're a shooter fan then I don't see how you can take Valve getting inspiration from a title such as FO3 can be disappointing. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing Valve out-Bethesda Bethesda themselves. That alongside the Valve touch is most likely going to wind up with one of gaming cultures most monumental titles.

People bashing Carmack about him doing anything excited lately are really making my forehead red from all the slapping I've been doing to it. How about you go find the research he's been doing on his off time with virtual reality and applying it to video games. There are many of videos on youtube about it and that's honestly imo (and apparently valve thinks so too) the next huge step in video game technology.
