@Needles-Kane Jip! Isn't it strange that Valve only recently started fixing their terrible offline mode. Previous accusations that it doesn't work where simply ignored, but now with a little competition they are actually fixing it.

Origin still beats it with the ability to play your game while its downloading an update. No more waiting to download a 5+gig update before you can play. Hell, you can even choose not to install the update.
