@DevilD2005

This makes no sense.

So, Nintendo would put is series on another portable device? They would help another portable device against the 3DS?

The problem about the stupidity of blending SP and MP is that, people that play SP don't care for MP, so, why in hell would you want to "tear down the walls" between both?

The second problem is forcing people into MP to have the "all experience" crap.

I don't have a Wii U, but...c',mon. The console was released 6 months ago, wait for the big titles to come out. IF, after that, it still doesn't sell, people can start to worry, until then.....

And the idea that, the moment the PS4 and 720 comes out the Wii U will "die" is ridiculous. History has proven exactly the opposite, just look at current/last gen, the Wii crushed the 360 and PS3.

EA turned their back at Nintendo as far s new releases go after being butthurt for Nintendo having giving them the finger at the "Origin on Nintendo Network" fiasco.

If Nintendo is smart, when they want to start supporting the Wii U (it will happen eventually), Nintendo should give them the finger again.

Nintendo doesn't need EA, but EA needs Nintendo.

IMO, this article is the pure example of this industry's identity crisis.

You can read the title of the article: Techland developing first-person co-op slasher

But in the body of the article: Hellraid features a single-player campaign and a "unique" cooperative multiplayer component that pits four players against creatures of Hell.

So, if it has SP, this game is not a co-op game.

It is a game with both SP and co-op......is not that hard, is it?

I'm going to post what i need a couple of weeks ago in another site:

There is no correlation between violence and video games, never have and never will.

First it was movies, then TV, then movies once again and now it's video games....

A guy that goes on a killing spree, didn't do that because of video games, he did that because he is not right in the head.
Any person that say that he was influenced by games, or took ideas from it, it's not right in the head as well.
That guy that went on a killing spree would do that with or without the games.
He might even take ideas from the game or get influenced by it, but it could have been a movie or a book just the same.
One can say: "oh, but games are interactive, and he was playing violent games...", of course he was, any person with violent tendencies does/likes violent things...it's logic 101.

Anyone that thinks otherwise is incapable of thinking for themselves and are influenced by what they see/hear/see, hell, the vast majority of the world is like this, just look at publicity (personally, one of the few things i'm really proud about myself is that i'm not one of those. I'm not easily influenced by exterior factors).
Video Games are no more than scapegoats....
If there is one thing that this fucking society we call world likes is to find scapegoats for everything, this way, it's never their own fault; people usually are incapable of accepting their faults, are not willing to accept responsibility for what they do, either for pure cowardness or they just don't know what the hell they are doing (the vast majority is oblivious at what they do most of the time, if not, the world would be a much better place).

99% of gamers are totally sane....hell, i've been playing since i was 5 and i'm not, in any way or form, a violent individual, if anything, i'm altruistic as ****, i always put others above myself (depends on the situation of course), and i play violent games on a daily basis.
Besides, and it ends all discussions about this crap...video games are worldwide, not an american hobbie and guess what...no one kills as much as you do.
Don't blame games, blame your country, blame your society, something is not right...hell, i just heard the news a few days ago of a guy throwing a woman to the subway track in Philadelphia......WHO THE **** DOES THAT??

You put 200 people playing the same violent video games, and of those people one goes on a killing spree, don't blame the game, blame the guy.
Don't forget that 199 of the gamers are totally sane.

Now take Co-Op. I can much easier understand the love for Co-Op than competitive MP, and i don´t even touch Co-Op, which is not true about competitive MP, i play MP from time to time (a long time to time). There is a story in Co-Op, there is a reason in Co-Op, but the thing is, and i talk for personal experience, i don´t have any gaming friends nor do i plan to, i actually have a life outside the walls in my house. Like myself, there are thousands that feel the same way. A gamer is not a siamise twin, i wasn´t born with a friend attached at the hip, so, to actually make games with a buddy in mind doesn´t make much sense, video games are not the friendship hotline nor does the retail version of a game comes with a friend inside the box. But that is just one of the problems about Co-Op, the other....when in Co-Op, gaming is no more than an excuse to be together. Sure, there might actually be people that play the game "for real", but the majority use the game to be together, and talk about the women (or men), sports, movies, whatever, but the game is the least of their problems. And then you go about the game, skip the cutscenes, choose to go to the left insted of the right because there are more enemies, with no regard to the story or characters....like i said, Co-Op is just a sorry excuse to the together. If i was a game developer, i would want gamers to actually care about the game and be immersed on it.
