Even though Activision has a bad rep i at least expected some ounce of professionalism, but apparently that was to much to ask for. I have seen situations like this over and over and most people decide to ether send out some kind of announcement saying they are going to repatch the game or just repatch it, however there are always those few who kick and scream back like a whiny child. Activision has decided to go with the third option here, i hear by have absolutely no respect for Activision in anyway what so ever. If this is their chosen community manager then its no wonder why the their games communities are notoriously bad. When you act like a spoiled asshole and in return get a bunch of spoiled assholes surrounding you, don't be surprised when the spoiled assholes act like spoiled assholes.
Anyone else feel like MS is just flaunting this around? It seems like every week we have a news article from MS saying they got more preorders. Its like a mother spamming facebook every time her one year old does something.
I could see this working only if the person putting their game up for trade has to pay a set fee for the game, a 5$ or so fee could work. The problem with everyone wanting to trade there games is if your account gets hacked you lose not only all your items but also all your games. Another problem i have on the market has to be traders, Steam has a huge following of traders that tend to buy games on sale then trade them for something else to make a profit. The problem with them is they could easily undermine the Steam market place and a lot of them tend to be very cheap, some only trading if they make a profit of double what they paid for. So long story short i don't want to see Steam get ruined by the dozens of cheep traders who only have accounts so they can make a profit.
Wasn't the whole idea you work through the ages and finally finish off the story with Desmond? So far AC seems like a mess of poor story planning and milking. Even with the eventual modern day setting its going to be kinda had to do all that fancy stabbing when pretty much everyone has a gun with them. Or is everyone going to be using a baton for no apparent reason like in AC2 besides the obvious "We didn't think this far head"
Even though I'm not a football or football game fan i got excited when i heard EA no longer had a monopoly, but i guess it was to good to be true and EA can still pump out sports games with some slightly better lighting to hide their graphics quality.
@UnaSolida Thats my greatest fear about Farcry, Ubisoft turning it into another assassins creed. Yearly updates that slowly degrade in quality till they are nothing like the first and far from what the first originally intended to be.
Oh great like we needed to give power fuel to the "hardcore" LoL players. LoL has by far the worst community any game has ever had and the last thing we need are these ego driven gamers thinking they are pro athletes. Seriously its just going to be adding fuel to the already out of control fire.
