Another big dev leaves the WiiU at the door how ever this brings up another large problem, how many RPG's have we seen or heard of on the WiiU? From the looks of it the WiiU is missing a major genre that has a huge very devoted fan base. As a huge fan of RPGs my self I can't help but feel like the WiiU is missing a major selling point for me and for many others.

I am very disappointed, i know its a very minor thing for a game like this but not having Ride of the Valkyries playing when i hop into a attack heli is seriously going to take a lot of the fun out of it for me. Also i can't help be also be saddened that, I Need a Hero, Power, and The Final Countdown are also not making a come back. At they very least let us import our own songs into the game Volt.

I loved Fear and it is to date one of my favorite FPS's, however i have a feeling that this game might lose its value kinda quickly. Even before the trailer was finished i found my self not liking the black and white filter. I however will give them the benifit of the doubt and wait to see how this game is handled before passing final judgement.

@KimCheeWarriorX There is a difference between this fan made project and others. Other fan projects just make a short movie or a mod or something, these people are opening asking for four hundred thousand dollars to make a movie for a IP that they don't own. Any company or any person would do the same if someone was trying to make money off of something that they owned.

Carmack has been very vocal recently, he has been up in arms defending the X-Box One. I find it kinda odd that a mutiplatform dev is so defensive of one platform, if he just prefers the xbox come out and say it don't beat around the bush.

@atopp399 That's kinda the whole point here. Square owns the rights to FF7 and here is someone trying to make something with that intellectual property and make money. Legally and honestly Square is right here.

Although Square has a habit of throwing out those cease and desist letters like candy to anyone who would even think about touching their game in anyway i have to side with them on this one. Asking for money on a kickstarter isn't really a fan project more or less its asking for money from Squares property. I don't support Squares views on fan projects and mods most of the time but I will side with them on this one out of common sense. Also 400,000$ for 6 episodes? There is no way they need 400,000$ for 6 fan made episodes, they are obviously going to try and make a profit.

You know a Legend of Zelda movie doesn't sound that bad actually. Legend of Zelda games have somewhat straight forward plots with the ultimate goal of collect Tri Force get Zelda, i can easily see this put into a good movie. The one thing they would really need to focus on is art design and animation quality, something they didn't really nail in this movie pitch. I can see something more along the lines of Twilight Princess art style working for a movie, minus the camera filters and massive lighting glare though. But yea, a Legend of Zelda movie is something i could possibly get behind if done right.
