Where would I be able to find a NFB-12. You brought it up to me before, and i'm not writing it off- its just this is the first time I've heard headphones in a proper DAC/Amp combo. The difference was huge. There was like no distortion- unlike normal( the louder I turn up my Grados, the more my ears hurt from treble) the more I turned the volume up, the more orgasmic I felt How do you power your Stax at the moment. I know as soon as I have enough money set aside I'm getting a new amp and DACUnless portability is a concern, in that price range there are a decent number of amps/dacs that would fair better. Such as the Zero DAC or Audio-gd NFB-12.
