Hold on a second there, you DO realize that we're CM's not tech right? Of course you do, cause your a big smart boy with lots of brains :P But you're right site enhancements shouldn't take 2 months to go through, that doesn't mean that these things don't take time. As far as using more colorful language directed at admins well, that's your choice I suppose. Just remember that some staff have a very low tolerance for being insulted. It took them two whole months to fix the Read/Unread forum glitch.

Well you are entitled to an opinion and like I said before if you can organise a bunch of other people with a similar voice to be concerned about a particular feature then you are welcome to discuss it here. But for now the rule stands.
Also here's a friendly tip. Expressing a dislike about a rule and want to talk about it that's all fine and dandy but if you want to see any kind of progress you should provide insight as well as a possible solution much like these people did.
No they won't be discourage, if they like the forum they will stick even if they can't creat new threads, they can still participate in the threads, is not like you need to be level 10 to post anything on SW.
madsnakehhh
What he said ;) Also I would like to point out that numerous people voiced a desire for this feature, if you oppose it or have something else in mind you're certainly welcome to voice that opinion.
This is something that should totally be considered (if it's not already underway), I'll pass this along and if I get an update I will do my best to let you guys know.
With the new Terms of Use in place we have heard a great deal of concerns from the System Wars community in regards to its impact. Due to the insight provided over the past 6 weeks a level requirement to create a topic will now be in effect. Users who wish to create topics in System Wars must now be level 10 or higher.
Failure to meet said level requirement will result in the thread being removed and a warning issued. A second failure to comply will cause revoked privileges. This is not override the current System Wars rule set involving forum invasions
We encourage you to report threads that are being created by low level posters by using the "Other" drop down and mark the topic as "Not lvl 10".
Users that are not level 10 are still welcome to contribute to pre-existing topics made by higher level accounts.
We appreciate the feedback that we've gotten from System Warriors and we look forward to implementing future tools to help improve your experience on the site, if you have any questions please feel free to send a PM a Community Manager or a System Wars moderator.
