Have had Skyrim on PS3 since launch but found myself wanting to experience all the fun and goodness of the modding scene. So out I go and get myself a nice new updated PC to really show me how Skyrim is meant to be played. Well, so far, not so good... It keeps crashing to the desktop (steam screen) and when I pull up task manager it shows that it is unresponsive. As this is my first foray back into PC gaming in quite some time, I have no idea what the go is. Naturally, I have the HD Texture pack DLC downloaded but thats all so far, in terms of mods. Seems to happen at random times, too. Sometimes 10 minutes or so, other times an hour or more of gameplay, but it always seems to end the same: CTD.

My PC specs are as follows:

   MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
   AMD FX-6100 Six-Core Processor @ 3.32GHz
RAM
   16.0 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
   Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-990FXA-UD3 (Socket M2)   41 °C
Graphics
   E2251 (1920x1080@60Hz)
   AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

117GB Corsair Force GT ATA Device (SATA)   30 °C
   977GB Seagate ST31000524AS ATA Device (SATA)   34 °C
Any suggestions as to what the problem may be would be greatly appreciated.
Hey all, I'm hoping you can help...
Having some problems downloading a game add-on through the Playstation Store. More specifically, for GT5.
I should probably start at the beginning, so bare with me. Recently, around Xmas, my 60gig phat gave up the ghost and the Blu-ray drive packed it in. So after a MASSIVLY failed attempt at getting it fixed through a local 'console repair' store (the ******s wiped my hard drive ffs...), I decided on a new 160gig slim. All good, except now none of my previous downloads show up in the 'View Downloads' section of the Playstation Store - I just get error code 80023102. I have 'activated' the system and am logging into the PSN with the same details as before.
As if things weren't bad enough with that, I can't download the 'Car Pack 3' which I bought for GT5. They took my cash quick-smart, but when I select [download], it gives me the following helpful message:
"This software has already been purchased. Press [download] to download it."
The only button on that screen is 'continue shopping'. When I hit circle to back out of that screen or hit X to 'continue shopping', then push the suggested [download] button, same message. Rinse, repeat... 3 times to no avail.
I have managed to download a few add-on's to Saints Row III, and they worked out fine, so I'm wondering if its a problem specific to GT5.
Any ideas or input would be appreciated.
Chances we'll see a show about these bunnies like they did with the Geico Cavemen?ZumaJones07

Bunnies are meant to be cute. 'Specially white ones.
Yeah, I reckon InFamous2 is way better than the first. Pay no attention to the review of it here. Some people let the change of voice actors dampen their experience of the game. Personally speaking, it was a 'Awww, new dude voicing...' [plays for a while] 'New voice actor? meh...' moment.
Yeah, there are some issues at times with camera angle and the occasional fighting in confined spaces can be, ummmm, challenging, but its nothing that takes away from the overall good experience of the game.
I think the difference is probably the AMOUNT of time spent gaming, rather on the difficulty levels. Let's face it, the 'casual gamer' won't last too long on the veteran difficulty as apposed to the 'hardcore gamer' who has spent more time on it to have the ability to get places within the game, on those higher levels. Generally speaking, of course.
Here are my 'must-haves':
- Battlefield 3
- Infamous 2
- Batman AC
- Assassin's Creed Revelations
- Modern Warfare 3
- Alice: Madness Returns
How would I go about taking advantage of this "welcome back" deal? Do you get it through the Playstation Store...I mean, how can I choose the two games I want?

When the stores back up you'll be able to download them from there. Large, chunky downloads - yum.
Speaking of which, I've got one of the original launch-day 60gb PS3s and have juggled the limited amount of space there quite nicely over the years. Looks like if I'm to take advantage of the welcome back offer, Im going to have to do that HD upgrade I've successfully put off for so long. :P
