yes sure if you combine PC,360, and PS3 sells (~99.9% of console sells are physical copies) but if you break that up and count digital sells as well. MP3 on PC probably didn't sell anywhere close to D3, MP3 on 360 probably didn't sell any where close to D3, and MP3 on PS3 probably didn't sell anywhere close to D3.

What PC gamer buys physical copies any more? I'm sure if anyone other than R* and Blizzard knew their digital sales numbers as well I'm sure blizzard ripped R* a new one even if you combine all 3 systems for MP3.
to bad D3 sucked my balls though. MP3 looks like a decent game when it hits 10 bucks on steam.
Look at the target audience of consoles though. The witcher is a mature game targeted at mature gamers. most people who own a 360 bought them just to play CoD and halo(sales numbers prove this). The higher price for entry on the PC tends to weed out a lot of those kids. Plus the witcher 2 had been out a full year before the xbox version. so anyone who had to play it played it on PC.
All I know this is the last blizzard game I ever buy. this game has been a cluster F&(^ since it came out. the Nazi police state DRM, the Auction house and horrendous loot system killed it pretty fast for me. at least I had a blast with the torchlight 2 beta.
@legokid3000 keep in mind TF2 never cost $50. It was really only $10 even when it came out. maybe $20 when they broke up the orange box on steam. Also not once have I had to pay for more maps for TF2. going by the history of Bethesda games in the last 8 years we wont see free DLC for this game. Id love to be proven wrong here though. with all that said this game looks awesome just not $50 awesome.
