Recently, my PS4 is suffering from a peculiar problem. It is the old model, e.g. Fat.

After booting up and playing for a while (approx 15 to 20 minutes), the screen starts flckering and a weird sound (like a short drum beat) is heard. The display starts cracking and the PS4 becomes unplayable.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any solution? Is it an issue with my TV or PS4?

TV runs fine with Netflix but shows issue with the DTH (which is also a HDMI connected devise)

Now, I am wondering. Is it an issue with the PS4 or the HDMI outputs of the TV? I changed the cables, but issue persists.

Put a couple of games on my wish list, but not sure if I'll end up buying them.

Bully; simpy because I never really got it play it when it was available for PS2 and PC, but I am also a bit skeptical about the porting. I was terrible disappointed with Max Payne PS4 port, it sucks big time.

Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection; similar reasons--I never really got in the AC games, and thought I should try them out now.

Probably I'll just pass and wait for week 2

The Decision Based Gaming union has moved from gamespot to Steam. Anyone who wants to find us should hit up "Decision Based Gaming" in steam. Or alternately, you can add:

Founder: Garfield360Uk (steam id: Locke)

Last leader: DeadManRollin (steam id: Dead_Man_Rollin)

Thanks.

We have moved to steam. Please find "Decision Based Gaming" (DBG) in Steam, or add me up (username Dead_Man_Rollin) so I can invite you.

I think most of you who were regular members know under what circumstances we had to move, so I won't repeat them here. Some of the old users like garfield, loopy, benny and pai may are already there.

You can also catch up with me in twitter @ishtiaq_beatle

For the reasons described here, I recommend getting the "GOG" versions of older games. I've bought a few and they work excellently on Windows 7. However, I see that NOLF is only in the wish list for GOG:

No one knows who owns it though. :(

It's Warner Bros. Interactive (WBI), most likely.

N.O.L.F. was Monolith's property, so WBI may well be in possession of the rights.

With that said, I don't think WBI will let the game be re-released without DRM.

Which is really sad. I thought NOLF 1 and 2 (not much about 2, mostly 1) was well ahead of its time; a great blend of RPG and Action. I really loved the soundtrack, and here's a link for all NOLF fans:

I was hoping to see a homepage news article on his sad demise. Although there hasn't been any decent Fast and Furious games, the impact of Paul Walker and his movies has been immense on racing games like NFS Underground 1 and 2, Midnight Club, to name a few.

RIP Paul walker.
