So I am a member of a web site that lets you download videos. For the record, it's a perfectly legal site.
So anyway, I was a member of this site a few years back and had no problems with the videos I downloaded there. They played and sounded just fine in Windows Media Player. Back then, however, I had a different PC.
I recently rejoined this site and have been downloading videos on my new PC. The problem is that when I play the new videos, the audio is very slightly out of sync with the video (about 1/2 a second behind). I've tried playing the videos in both WMP and VLC and they both have the same problem. The funny thing is that the videos I downloaded a couple of years ago still play fine even on my new PC.
I asked around at the forum for the web site and some people have indicated that it's a problem with my PC because the videos play fine for them.
Is there really something wrong with my PC? If so, what could the problem be?
