@Scorpion1813 I understand what you're saying, but in that case, shouldn't people be angry at Quantic Dream for editing their own game rather than the people that rated it? There's a lot of misdirected anger going on in the comments, and all because of the word censorship. What I'm trying to say is that journalists have the obligation to properly inform people, and this article in particular not only failed, but also flamed.
@Scorpion1813Yes, but not because someone made them do it. They chose to make those cuts to avoid a PEGI 18 rating in Europe. No one told them they couldn't release the game in Europe with those extra seconds, they just told them it would be PEGI 18. How is that censorship? Also, it's not politically incorrect, it's just incorrect. The word simply does not apply here.
I don't think the author of this article knows what censorship means and he's deceiving his readers into thinking that the game was censored, when it was not. The game got a PEGI 18 rating and the publisher/developers were not happy with it and THEY decided to cut a few seconds out of it-- no one, but no one forced them to. They could've released the game with a PEGI 18 rating, but instead they chose to cut stuff out of their own free will to lower the rating.
There's NO censorship here, just a business decision. The end.
Aside from the extrovert (mostly cause I don't like multiplayer), I've been all those other types at one point or another-- it all depends on the game. If the game is boring me, then I'll speed-run it, if I'm enjoying it then I'll try to explore as much as possible and if it's something in between, then I'll probably just want to get to the action to have some fun.
