For me and my PC it's: Asylum, Dementium2, Amnesia MFP, Outlast.

Among the sleep looks really interesting.

I thought Silent Hill 3 and Fatal Frame were horribly scary.  Good to see more survival horror titles being released!

Great summary! Didn't know about more than half of these. Thanks for the clip Jess :)

Ready to shit my pants again. I'm just not tryna see more exorcisms, it's already a huge (& lousy) trend in hollywood & I'm not all eager see it make an impact on the horror genre.

Routine does have my panties in a bunch I'll admit

DeadSpace 3?

ASYLUM, definitely ! Trailer for the game is cool and the ambient is great. Creepy house with eerie music looks very promising.

the baby one looked the best. I remember when I first played Fallout 3, it had you start as a little baby and it was kinda neat. I can't imagine how cool it'd be to see a world of horror from the little eyes of some infant, where even chairs and couches are places to hide in. When I was a kid, I could fit in the couch cushions and no one would find me until they sat down and squished me.

Nice list, I hadn't heard of most of these. The one that caught my eye the most is Routine. Survival horror on a moon base, sign me up. I wonder if I will be able to look up and see the relative safety of Earth at a distance, so close yet so far.

Great video and list...had heard of barely any of these. Not that I'm super into the genre but it's nice to know what's out there.

outlast looks interesting, but im not sure they have the same tpical theme horror house or mental ward ,you running around the please with a dodgy torch, yes it can be scary, just its been done to death, would like something thats out of the box,

but i guess these will do.

As a huge fan of horror titles, in all forms, I'm glad to see that "true horror" games aren't going to disappear any time soon. My pants however don't share a mutual feeling.

Shame most of these are for PC, there aren't enough horror games on consoles and it's probably my favourite sub-genre! Looking forward to Outlast, and hope they make Until Dawn playable with a regular controller otherwise I won't bother.

I'll go with Outlast , Amnesia , Asylum , Eathan Carter and Alan Wake 2 which is yet to be announced at E3 . First one was one of the most immersive games I have ever played . That game looked beast on PC .

Thank you so much Gamespot for including my reaction video in your montage and review of upcoming horror games!

If anyone was interested in the custom story played for Amnesia it was "Followed by Death Chapter 2".

Here is the rest of the video: http://youtu.be/yHLEVO_S9m4

Very nice video Jess, although Horror is a setting, survival horror is a genre, Slender for example, just like FEAR, are horror games but not SH

SH is mostly defined i think by sandbox gameplay enviroments, non linear gameplay, puzzles that are the main way of advancing, storytelling and horror setting of course.

I was hoping you had included Darkwood in the list, i think it looks pretty good http://www.darkwoodgame.com/

wow, and here I thought the genre died.

So excited. Survival horror for life!

@kyleechols123 There is already a free indie game called "Baby Blues-A Toddler Horror Game " that has the exact perspective as a toddler, and your in the house at night because "something" wakes you up. Its so scary. The same devs that made REC Shutter made this. I hope they get some credit or were part of this new title because it looks EXACTLY the same! You can play it on Desura for free, or prob other sites too :)

@Venom_RaptorI don't think it's a shame at all although I see your point and I don't particularly understand why they don't release cross-platform. I would prefer it if PC gaming would keep some of its, now few, niches to itself as the more things that move to console the worse gaming genres are going to get. Trust me. I still don't understand why people prefer playing FPS with a controller for eg. so I can never understand how that genre moved from PC to console.

@kolex5 They did finish it. They'll probably add the edit later on, but the entire stream is available on twitch.

@IceQBkid My hubby is strictly PS3 gamer, and I tried a PC game, and haven't touched the PS3 since. I worked on getting him to play and it was mostly the fact that many of the games I have don;t have controller support. I did get him to watch me play some, and am trying desperately to convince him how much better FPS/RPG games are without one...still working on him. :) BTW-Had my eye on Outlast for awhile-cannot wait for release date!!

@charlesdao @OuTLaWzGamer Welcome to the wonderful and world of PC gaming.  Warning, you will find your consoles collecting more and more dust.

@_Roo_ @charlesdao @OuTLaWzGamer Amen _Roo_I was strictly a PS3 girl, and then I found PC games...I have literally not used my PS3 for anything but playing movies, or watching my hubby play Silent Hill Homecoming...LOL-PC games are far superior, and that's that!
